WHY ARE WE CONSULTING?

On 10th July 2023, Iceni Projects submitted a Proposal of Application Notice (PoAN) on behalf of Courie Investments Ltd to Glasgow City Council in respect of the site. The PoAN contained the following description of development:

Erection of purpose built student accommodation with associated amenity, access and other ancillary works.

Submission of the PoAN commenced a statutory 12-week period of pre-application consultation.

In line with The Town and Country Planning (Pre-Application Consultation) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021, two statutory public consultation events in relation to the proposed development, as follows:

• Event (1) – held on 9th August 2023. The exhibition boards from the first consultation event can be found here.
• Event (2) – will be held on Tuesday 5th September 2023 between 2pm and 7pm at the Renfield Training and Conference Centre, 260 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 4JP.
